Question / Issue
Will children who die at an early age go to heaven by default or they will also be judged for their sins?

Answer / Solution

This is such an important question. The Bible does not explicitly state that all children who die go to Heaven. However, there is ample evidence to believe that this is the case. Jesus demonstrated tremendous mercy toward children, readily blessing them whenever He had the opportunity (Matthew 19:13-15, Mark 10:13-16, Luke 18:15-16). In addition to this, when King David lost the son that he and Bathsheba had conceived, David was confident that he would see this child in the afterlife, stating, "But now he has died; why should I fast? Can I bring him back again? I will go to him, but he will not return to me." David was confident that when he passed from this life into heaven, his infant son would be there to greet him. This is perhaps the most convincing biblical evidence for the support of the belief that children who die go to heaven.
