Question / Issue
The Bible states "the dead no not anything." You state that the dead person's soul goes to heaven and is reunited with the body at the time of resurection. You site the story of the girl Jesus raises from the dead by restoring her spirt. If God is the life giver He can take and give the spirit back anytime He choses. It doesn't say the spirit was returned from Heaven. No person that was resurected had any recollection of being alive in spirit when they returned to their bodies. God gives the spirit at birth and takes it at death. It does not return to heaven when it lives without the body. It goes back to the Creator who gave and took it when He choose to.

Answer / Solution

The Scripture you are quoting is found in Ecclesiastes chapter 9 where the author is specifically addressing things under the sun or this earth realm. You must read this entire section of Scripture to get the full context of what is being said.

Regarding your comment on “no person that was resurrected had any recollection of being alive in spirit when they returned to their bodies.” I encourage you to study Paul’s account in 2 Corinthians 12:2-5 where he recounts his experience when he was stoned in Lystra. Read Acts 14:19-20. The word used in Acts for "arose" is the word that means "resurrection" in Greek.  It would have been this experience, which we know was 14 years before, that he was speaking of in 2 Corinthians 12:2-5.  Paul was the man.  He saw heaven and said that what he saw he was not permitted to speak of.
