Is There Going to be a National Sunday Law?

Bulk mailings of a book on the subject have raised the issue of a National Sunday Law. In short, it's a non-issue. It's something that will never happen in the United States. It's even less possible now than it was 150 years ago when Ellen White sounded the "alarm."

The Bible doesn't teach anything about a National Sunday Law in America or an International Sunday Law around the world. Adventists have come up with it as a scare tactic to get people to join their denomination and worship on Saturday.

Seventh-day Adventists teach that the "seal of God" is the Sabbath (worshipping on Saturday). The seal of God is not the Sabbath, the Bible clearly says it is the Holy Spirit:

"In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation –having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise." Ephesians 1:13

"Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption." Ephesians 4:30

"Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and anointed us is God, who also sealed us and gave us the Spirit in our hearts as a pledge." 2 Corinthians 1:21-22
